Eileen Schofield formed Schofield & Associates Employment Lawyers in 2009.

Eileen heads up a team of committed professionals and has worked in the legal sector since 1997. Experience on a Wide Range of Issues

We have experience of dealing with a wide range of contentious issues from breach of contract, whistle blowing, sex, race and disability discrimination.  We have also represented clients in respect of matters connected to acts of age discrimination, sexual orientation and discrimination on the grounds of religion or belief. In addition, we have extensive experience of advising on issues connected to maternity/paternity rights, unfair dismissal and working time regulations. The above experience includes representing clients in employment tribunal proceedings.

We will also provide advice on drafting of settlement agreements and representing employees in respect of their rights associated with settlement agreements.

Non Contentious Issues

At Schofield & Associates we also provide advice on non-contentious issues and drafting of contracts of employment, staff handbooks and policy documents, together with service agreements; whilst also offering advice to employers in respect of HR issues, including grievance, disciplinary investigative matters, potential discrimination and dismissal matters.

In addition to providing bespoke advice, we will also use our experience to build a reputation by presenting at seminars at various locations around the country, dealing with issues and updating clients on forthcoming European and UK employment law.

We are members of the following professional organisations:

  • Birmingham Law Society
  • Institute of Directors
